How to find us

Loughborough is one of the most centrally placed towns in England and benefits from excellent transport links. Access is excellent with the M1 motorway less than three miles away and first class rail links with frequent services from London and all other major cities, especially, Leicester, Derby and Nottingham. There are also excellent bus services both locally and as part of a national network.

By Road

From the M1: Loughborough College is located close to Junction 23 of the M1. From the North or South, leave the motorway at Junction 23 and take the A512 Ashby Road to Loughborough. After approximately two miles you will come to a roundabout intersection with Epinal Way.

Epinal Way entrance: From the A512 Ashby Road turn right along Epinal Way and take the first left (after the pedestrian traffic lights) into the College and follow the road around toward the College buildings. Reserved Car Parking spaces will be outside the Radmoor Centre on the left of the road, with short stay on the right hand side. Additional car parking can be found beyond these spaces.

Radmoor Road entrance: At the A512/Epinal Way roundabout go straight on toward the town centre on Ashby Road then at the first set of traffic lights turn right down Radmoor Road. Continue following the road down until you reach the College grounds which has a number of car parks that can then be used.

From the Leicester via A6: Loughborough College is signposted University Colleges from the A6. From A6, Epinal Way, Loughborough Roundabout follow signs to University Colleges on to Epinal Way. Follow Epinal Way over a further 3 roundabouts then turn right into the Epinal Way entrance to the College after the junction with Forest Road.

From the Derby via A6: Loughborough College is signposted University Colleges from the A6. From A6, as approaching Loughborough turn right at the roundabout onto Warwick Way. Then left at the next roundabout onto Epinal Way, follow signs to University Colleges on to Epinal Way. Follow Epinal Way over a further 2 roundabouts then turn left into the Epinal Way entrance to the College after the junction with Ashby Road.

From Nottingham or Melton Mowbray via A60: Approaching from Nottingham or Melton Mowbray – Arriving in Loughborough on the A60 at the first set of traffic lights go straight on. At the second set of lights turn left, signposted Leicester, and follow this road to the traffic lights at the junction with the A6. Turn right then take the first left down Southfields Road, stay in the right hand lane, until the road split into three lanes. Following this take the middle lane, follow the road round to the right and take the immediate left up Forest Road. Continue forward to the roundabout then take a right , continue forward approximately 350 metres and then turn right into the Epinal Way entrance to the College.

Parking

Please be advised that there is limited car parking on the College campus. However there are of short stay spaces and spaces assigned for blue badge holders. If arriving from the Epinal Way entrance, then reserved car parking spaces will be outside the Radmoor Centre on the left of the road, short stay on the right hand side, with additional car parking found beyond these spaces in car park 1.

If you are arriving from the Radmoor Road entrance, then please use either car park 4, 5 or 6.

When you have arrived: Please report to Reception, which can be found nearest the Epinal Way entrance. Please see the College campus map for more guidance.

Please note: There are two entrances to Loughborough College, which are separated by a no through road for private vehicles, one from Epinal Way and one from Radmoor Road. The bollard is usually lowered on Open Days. However please be aware that it is not always possible to drive from one side of the campus to the other.

Once enrolled at the College on a full or part time course, parking permits are available for students living outside of the LE11 postcode. The 2011/2012 guidance on car parking permits can be found here.

By Rail

Loughborough train station is at the heart of the rail network. The journey time from London is less than a hour and a half at peak times. Frequent services from Leicester, Derby and Nottingham are also available.

The walk from the train station to campus is approximately 40 minutes. Both taxis and a shuttle bus service are available from the train station for easy access to the campus.

By Bus

The Kinch Sprint Shuttle Bus offers a regular service between the train station, town centre and College. The route also extends to the Loughborough University campus.

By Coach

Coaches run regularly from cities to the centre of Loughborough. All major London airports service Loughborough on the National Express. The coaches drop off passengers in the centre of Loughborough; from here visitors can connect with the Kinch Shuttle bus service which offers direct access the Loughborough College campus. If you are travelling from London Victoria Coach Station, then drop off at Loughborough University is available, which is located is close proximity to Loughborough College.

By Air

East Midlands airport is only 7 miles away and serviced by a number of airlines.

A skylink bus service also operates every 30minutes from Nottingham East Midlands Airport to Loughborough town centre with a journey time of approximately 30 minutes. From here connect with the Kinch Shuttle bus service to access the Loughborough College campus.

By Foot/Bicycle

Loughborough College campus is approximately 15 mins or 1 mile from the centre of Loughborough town. It is advised that you plan a walking route prior to your journey. The walking directions facility of Google maps could assist with this. However shorter routes may be available throughout parks or the town’s marketplace.
